We welcome NDIS clients
Understanding yourself or your loved one better can be important, and sometimes even life-changing. Our neuroaffirming and comprehensive ADHD and Autism assessments provide clarity, guidance, and pathways for support and growth – delivered with compassion and experience.
Our assessments are for adults, adolescents, and children who may be experiencing signs or challenges related to ADHD or Autism. Common reasons individuals seek an assessment include difficulties with attention, social interactions, repetitive behaviours, emotional regulation, or executive functioning.
We also support families and individuals seeking clarity for the first time or those needing a reassessment to better understand their evolving needs.
Please note, we cannot prescribe medication. Only a Psychiatrist or Paediatrician can prescribe medications for these conditions. Instead, we work with clients using neuroaffirming, evidence-based therapies to help with life challenges.
Each assessment is thorough, tailored, and collaborative. We use evidence-based, gold-standard assessment tools, and our clinicians combine detailed clinical interviews, observational data, psychometric testing, and personal history to ensure accuracy and reliability.
An initial intake session to discuss concerns and background information.
Structured diagnostic interviews and validated psychometric assessments.
Feedback session with comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations.
Clinicians experienced in nuanced and complex presentations of ADHD and Autism.
Assessments that are comprehensive, compassionate, and respectful of individual differences.
Clear, actionable insights and personalised recommendations to support wellbeing and practical improvements.
Assessment reports suitable for clinical, educational, workplace, or NDIS purposes.
Following your assessment, you’ll receive a detailed report clearly outlining diagnostic conclusions, strengths, challenges, and personalised recommendations. This report can assist with accessing additional supports, educational accommodations, or therapy.
We also offer follow-up therapeutic support and guidance, ensuring you feel equipped to take meaningful next steps.
No referral is necessary to book an assessment. However, a referral from your GP or specialist may assist in obtaining rebates or funding.
The full assessment process typically spans 2–3 sessions, including intake, assessment, and feedback, usually completed within a few weeks.
Assessment costs may be partly covered through Medicare rebates with a Mental Health Care Plan, and partly covered for eligible NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed.
If you’re ready to take the next step towards understanding and supporting yourself or your loved one, we’re here to help.
